New Tribes Mission – Papua New Guinea
Daughters: Avalon, Sierra, Kylee, and Briella
Aaron and Lori Luse, along with their four girls, have been working with the Patpatar tribe in Papua New Guinea since 2003.Their primary goals are church planting and discipleship, translation of God’s Word, and developing literacy programs. There are now several small groups that make up the Patpatar churches which have been growing spiritually and numerically as they continue being taught through the Bible. A literacy program to help the Patpatar to read and write in their own language has been developed, taught, and turned over to the Patpatar people. Portions of Genesis, Exodus, Daniel, and the book of Jonah have been translated into the Patpatar language with the help of Madonna Yates, their coworker who joined the team in 2008. Aaron is grandson of the late Roy Dixon and his wife, Irene.
Pray for the new outreaches being done to family and neighbors by the Patpatar church.
Prayer Verse – – “To prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:12-13)
